The mission of Emerge is to teach people how to access God's kingdom through grace.

May you rise from your obscure, inferior postition or condition and live the abundant life that Christ has paid for with His own life. Jesus has given you abundant grace so that you may live in His wonderful kingdom. Receive the free gift of God and be happy!

Our History

The ministry of Matthew Wade has not always been called Emerge. The ministry changed its name to Emerge in 2008.

In 1993, Matthew & his grandmohter Nellie were in a tragic car accident. It was Halloween night and they were out enjoying the festivities like many others. As they were leaving an event, a drunk driver struck the back of the small vehicle at some 90mph. Matthew's grandmother died from the impact. Nellie was only the Christian influence in his life at that time.

It was on the side of the highway were Matthew had an experience with Jesus and was saved. He did not understand what had happened to him, and did not share his feelings about his expreience till years later. Even though he knew that savation took place on the side of the highway in 1993, it wasnt till a few months later at a Sunday evening  church service that he publically confessed Jesus as his Savior.

"I still remember looking at my pastor and saying, "I dont know if I am saved. Although I had prayed and asked Jesus to save me on the side of the highway, Pastor Brand helped me make sure."

This is how the ministry of Emerge was born. Although Matthew did not begin preaching until he was 17, he was active in music from 13 yrs old. Sixteen years later, he is still preaching, teaching, and singing about the love and grace of Jesus.
